Does grass-fed mean grass-finished?

Not always. Cattle can eat grass for most of their lives and still be fed grain later. If grass-finished matters to you, check the product page or ask the shop.

The country of origin does not answer this by itself. Look for the feeding claim on the exact product you want to buy.

Check the total price

Check the weight, VAT and delivery fee. A whole cut may be cheaper per kilogram but costs more upfront than a single steak or burger pack.

Large frozen packs can be good value if you have enough freezer space and will use everything.

Buyer checklist

What to check before ordering

A few things worth checking before you pay.

  • Check whether the exact cut is grass-fed and, if it matters to you, grass-finished.
  • Check the country of origin and producer when that information is available.
  • Compare the weight, VAT, delivery fee and minimum order.
  • Check whether the meat arrives fresh or frozen.
